FOOD PAIRING: The WA PINOT GRIGIO pairs well with light fish dishes, crab and seafood as well as chicken. It also goes well with rich sauces and slightly spicy foods where the acidity of the wine balances the richness and spice. For this reason, avoid serving it with acidic dishes, such as tomato sauce or citrus.
The famous Italian white varietal Pinot Grigio is a medium bodied fresh wine, best enjoyed young. Its crisp acidity and fruity flavors of apples and melon makes it a refreshing companion to most dishes. Like many white wines, it is best to drink Pinot Grigio when it’s young, and preferably slightly chilled. Since it is crisp and refreshing, this wine is an ideal choice for warm weather.

The Serena family has for the last 130 years been dedicated to the creation of high quality wines as well as for creating their own story through innovative projects. The vineyard area covering the Veneto, Friuli and Trentino-Alto Adige is called Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC. This tightly-controlled production zone accounts for as much as two thirds of Italy’s annual 300 million bottle Pinot Grigio output. Importantly for Pinot Grigio lovers, all the wines bearing this new classification have to be certified by an independent commission before being bottled.

The Glera grape bring a bright, straw- yellow colour with a greenish hue. Lively mousse and intense aromas of white flowers and golden apple. The taste is intense, fresh, and elegant with a following soft delightful after-taste. Served well-chilled this is the perfect way to start an evening.
FOOD PAIRING: The WA PROSECCO is a pure delight for an aperitif, as well as with appetizers or light courses, a great combination with fish or vegetables main courses and delicate fish courses. Try it with lightly grilled seafood or Nigiri sushi. The light sparkle will refresh our palate and allow the clean flavours of the fresh fish. Prosecco also pairs well with middleweight Asian dishes such as pad thai and rice noodle dishes. The residual sugar makes it a great companion to moderately spicy heat.
Ripe grapes from the hillsides of Valdobbiadene in Northern Italy are fermented into fresh white wine. Then a secondary fermentation is done in tank for a refreshing effervescence that brings it all to life. This is called the Charmat method.

Sake is like a wine, but made with beer brewing methods.

Lighter futsū-shu (普通酒) and finer tokutei meishōshu (特定名称酒). The later is classified in four different grades:
- Honjōzō-shu (本醸造酒), little alcohol added
- Junmai-shu (純米酒), without added alcohol and with 40% of rice weight removed by polish.
- Ginjō-shu (吟醸酒), without added alcohol and with 50% of rice polished away.
- Daiginjō-shu (大吟醸酒), without added alcohol and with 60% of rice weight gone polished.
